Excursions in Liguria, trekking, paths, itineraries
Walks on the Ligurian paths are the best way to visit the region and also the method to discover hidden and otherwise unattainable corners. However, it is enough to think of the Cinque Terre to realize that Liguria is to be explored "on foot" , thanks also to the climate that makes it possible almost all year round.
The first road to take, about 440 km long which from Ventimiglia climbs to Monte Saccarello and ends in Ceparana (SP) , is the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri , an evocative route that has existed since the times of the castellari. Through this road you can take paths that often follow the salt roads which, from prehistoric times to the thirteenth century, were the main communication routes, including the Via dei Feudi Imperiali .
The Colombian historical path , on the mule track from Fontanabuona to Nervi , takes its name from the ancestors of Columbus who arrived in Genoa in the 15th century.
From Fontanabuona to Torriglia , on the other hand, there is the Itinerary of the Feudi Fiscani .
From Finale towards the Bormida valley , take the Beretta Road , while the Mediterranean Balcony Path , in the extreme west, joins the Côte d'Azur and the Via Marenca was crossed by trade towards Piedmont.
The Balcony of Genoa from Val Bisagno goes down to Nervi and the Verdeazzurro Path , in 10 stages and 140 km goes from Genoa to Portovenere .
For those who do not like hiking, there are those to do at sea with boats and boats that connect all the main towns of the region and, through which, you can see gulfs, bends and ravines from a very particular and suggestive view.
